101 Films International acquires feature film Santa Bootcamp, starring EGOT Award winner Rita Moreno.
101 Films International has secured worldwide sales rights (excluding US) for Santa Bootcamp, a Christmas feature film co-financed by Amcomri Entertainment Inc, which is set to air on Lifetime during the Holiday Season 2022.
With delivery expected at the end of October, 101 Films International is launching the film at the Toronto International Film Festival which is currently taking place.
Directed by Lifetimes’s Queen of Christmas, Melissa Joan Hart, who also serves as executive producer along with Paula Hart, Irene Dreayer and Gina Rugolo Judd, Santa Bootcamp is produced by Paula Hart and Hartbreak Films Inc with a script written by Michael J. Murray.
Global entertainment icon and Egot Award Winner Rita Moreno (West Side Story) will star alongside Tony Award Winner Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray), Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead), Justin Gaston (Nashville Star), Patrick Cassidy (Castle) and John Schuck (M.A.S.H). Santa Bootcamp will also showcase deaf actors Deanne Bray and Zyra Singleton who join the cast.

When event planner, Emily Strauss (Emily Kinney), is hired by mall magnate, Ed Mancini (Patrick Cassidy) to stage the ultimate Christmas Gala for his most important investors, Emily finds herself being sent to bootcamp – Santa Bootcamp – to find the perfect Santa and inspiration she will need to make the evening a success. While there, Emily meets Belle (Rita Moreno), the bootcamp’s drill sergeant with a heart of gold, who helps Emily rediscover the magic of Christmas and find romance along the way.
