101 Films International, an AAmcomri Entertainment Inc, has today confirmed the sale of Irish crime thriller Broken Law, which has been picked-up by Reel 2 Reel for North America, Phoenicia Pictures in the Middle East, Rialto for New Zealand and HBO for CEE.

From award-winning first-time writer/director Paddy Slattery, this gritty thriller features stand-out lead performances from award-winning actor Tristan Heanue (Cardboard Gangsters), John Connors (Love/Hate), Gemma-Leah Devereux (Get Up and Go, Judy) and Ryan Lincoln (Kissing Candice).

Broken Law is produced by Simon James Doyle (Failsafe Films) and Paddy Slattery (True Line Films) with the participation of Screen Ireland. Following a sold-out IMAX premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival 2020, the film went on to become the highest grossing Irish cinema release prior to an Ireland/UK Netflix deal. The film debuted at the 2020 Marché du Film and was the winner of the Discovery Award at the Dublin International Film Festival, as well as receiving a prestigious Special Jury Prize (voted for by the Dublin Film Critics’ Circle).
