Miracle Media Investments acquires horror feature Werewolf Santa with worldwide premiere at FrightFest. 101 Films International to handle sales outside of North America and the UK.

London, 11th August – Miracle Media Investments acquires British indie horror/comedy feature film Werewolf Santa. 101 Films International, an Amcomri Entertainment company, will represent the worldwide distribution (excluding UK and North America).

Werewolf Santa, produced by The Haunted Cinema in partnership with Miracle Media, will have its worldwide premiere at Frightfest in August, with its theatrical release in the UK and North America in November 2023.

Directed and written by Airell Anthony Hayles (He’s Behind You, Spider Inside Her), Werewolf Santa stars Mark Arnold (Blade Runner 2049, Angel Has Fallen), John Bloom (The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, Monstervision) and Emily Booth (Doghouse, Evil Aliens).

Santa turns into a werewolf on Christmas Eve and wreaks havoc in a small seaside town.  Lucy has a show called ‘Monster Hunter’s’ on YouTube, but it’s not doing too well with just a few viewers following her.  That’s until, on Christmas Eve, her camera witnesses Santa get bitten by a werewolf in the local park before turning into a werewolf himself.  Lucy and her family then set off on a wild adventure to somehow save Christmas, armed with just a rusty ice skate and a vague understanding of how werewolves operate (knowledge gained from the horror comics she devours).

Andy Taylor, Commercial Director at Trinity Creative Partnership, says, Werewolf Santa is as much a quirky family drama as it is a horror fantasy and is the alternative Christmas movie we’ve all been waiting for.  We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to share this unconventional scary hybrid with our international clients and are looking forward to its Frightfest premiere later this month.”
